What the test covers
Four sections, because a single overall number hides the thing you would actually want to fix.
Grammar and vocabulary
Adaptive multiple choice. Questions get harder or easier as you go, so it finds your level faster than a fixed set would.
Listening
Short recordings at natural speed, each played once — the same constraint the real exams apply.
Reading
Two passages with comprehension questions, timed, to see how you cope when you cannot reread indefinitely.
Speaking sample
One recorded answer of about ninety seconds. Optional, but without it the estimate covers only what can be tested by clicking.
What you get back
A CEFR level from A1 to C2, a score for each section, and a plain-language note on which section is holding the overall level down. If you go on to take a course, this becomes your starting point rather than something you retake.
The estimate is honest about its limits. Grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening are objectively marked. The speaking sample is assessed automatically and is the least certain part — a tutor will place you more accurately in a trial lesson.

Is this an IELTS or TOEFL score?
No. This is a CEFR placement test, which is a different scale and a different purpose. It tells you where to start studying. If you need a band estimate for a specific exam, take a full-length mock in that exam's own format instead — it is longer, but it is the only thing that maps to the score you care about.
